Just had a great day at the Fort, a well run and maintained.

The Forties Weekend had so much to see and do, so much better than any other local Forties events I've been to.

We first visited in the summer when a 40’s show was staged and was brilliant. I was able to purchase some beautiful dresses and fur stoles. This visit was a walk around with the granddaughters.

1940's

This is a wonderful place to visit, even without added attractions. Full of history. Visit the tunnels and the Chantry.

Check out the tunnels

Great place with lots of history. If open go into the tunnels.... the historical society has really made it interesting with ww2 themes and stories about the fort. Well worth a visit especially on event days like the 1940s weekend
